Roll up, Roll up! Cat Daddy, the Take-Two studio which worked on the Deal or No Deal PC game, has announced a funfair-themed game exclusively for the Nintendo Wii. Titled Carnival Games, it will be published by Global Star Software, the budget arm of Take-Two, and is due for release in the US this summer.

　　The game will will feature more than 25 playable funfair games, including Clown Splash, Milk Can Toss, Nerves of Steel, Lucky Cups, Hoops, Day at the Races, and Dunk Tank. There will also be a virtual fortune teller called the Great Swami.

　　Around 250 different virtual prizes will be winnable, including goldfish and giant stuffed animals. There will also be customisation option rewards, including items for the main character such as a pirate outfit and Viking horns.

　　Developer Cat Daddy Games is a Washington-based studio that has worked on a number of titles since being set up in 1998. It is best known for budget "tycoon" games, including Mall Tycoon 3, School Tycoon, Cruise Ship Tycoon, and Casino Mogul.

　　Publisher Global Star Software is a wholly owned subsidiary of Take-Two which focuses on budget and family titles, including Outlaw Golf, various Dora the Explorer titles, and Codename: Kids Next Door Operation V.I.D.E.O.G.A.M.E.

　　"The game was built from the ground up to take full advantage of the capabilities of the Wii Remote, so the flick of your wrist in Alley Ball makes the difference between scoring an impressive 100 points and a lowly 10 points," said Global Star Software's vice president of publishing Steve Lux.

　　The game will be priced at $39.99 in the US, where it is planned to be released this summer, and has not yet been rated by the ESRB.
