Where Is Xur Today? (October 14-18) - Destiny 2 Exotic Items And Xur Location Guide-November 2024
Nov 2, 2024 5:35 AM

It's the start of a new weekend in Destiny 2, which means that Exotic arms dealer Xur is back in the Solar system and ready to sell you some new gear for your collection. Here's where to find Xur and what he's selling.

This week you can find Xur on Nessus, in the Watcher's Grave area. For his weapon, Xur is offering Hard Light. Hunters can pick up the Liar's Handshake gauntlets; Titans can grab the Lion Rampant boots; and for Warlocks, Xur has the Crown of Tempests helmet.

Xur Location

Where to find Xur on Nessus.Head to Nessus and use the Watcher's Grave transmat zone to find Xur this week. When you arrive, hop on your sparrow and head north toward the exit of the area. Look for a big tree with pink moss on the right side of the area. Climb up onto its big, flat branch, where you can reach Xur.

It's a decent perk, and if you aim right, you'll get one Paracausal round in the chamber for when you want to deliver a devastating blow with the final bullet. For Dead Man's Tale, you can do a little bit of extra damage against bosses and other Guardians who have their supers active with Vorpal Weapon, It's better suited for PvP action, which seems to be the theme this week with the legacy Exotic rolls on offer.

Exotic Weapons and Armor

Hard Light

If you enjoy diving into challenging activities, Hard Light is a reliable auto rifle to have. Its ricochet rounds are great, but it's real claim to fame is that it can switch between Solar, Arc, and Void energy rounds on the fly, which is perfect for those Legend Lost Sectors that have a mix of element burns and enemies with tough shields. It has some great stability, and this deadly swiss army knife can help you pop the more resilient shields in these tough encounters.

  Liar's Handshake

A one-two punch from these gauntlets will bring down even the mightiest of foes. One of the best Exotics you can have for a Hunter Arc 3.0 build that gets up close and personal with enemies, Liar's Handshake can be used to deliver devastating haymakers. Using your Arc melee ability or being hit by a melee attack will allow you to follow up with an extremely powerful melee counterpunch that not only turns enemies into ashes but also heals you.

  Mobility: 14Resilience: 8Recovery: 9Discipline: 6Intellect: 2Strength: 23Total: 62Lion Rampant

A good set of boots for Titans who stick to the skies. This set of Titan boots is an average Exotic to equip, as Lion Rampant provides additional aerial maneuverability and enables more accurate hipfire while you're in the air during a Lift jump. Good for Titans who like to attack from high above and for navigating tricky platforming sections, but not much else.

  Mobility: 10Resilience: 12Recovery: 11Discipline: 15Intellect: 10Strength: 7Total: 65Crown of Tempests

Unleash almost unlimited power with this pointy helmet.A great option for Warlocks focused on Stormtrance super builds, Crown of Tempests makes Arc ability or Jolt final blows increase the recharge rate of your Arc abilities and extends the duration of your subclass ultimate ability. With the right build, this Exotic can be used to clear rooms and unleash devastating debuffs on tougher enemies.

Mobility: 14Resilience: 2Recovery: 17Discipline: 2Intellect: 14Strength: 13Total: 62Xur is present every weekend in Destiny 2, starting with the daily reset at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET on Friday. Bungie doesn't mark Xur's location on the in-game map, so it can be easy to miss him if you're not aware he exists. He only comes to specific locations, of which now there are only three: the Tower Hangar area, on Nessus in Watcher's Grave, and in the Winding Cove area of the EDZ.
