Big changes are coming to Destiny 2 in next month's Lightfall expansion, but right now, Xur remains a fixture in the game as he pops into the Solar system with a refreshed stock of weapons and armor. There's also a new Trials of Osiris weekend starting right now, a perfect arena to try out some new builds in, so visiting Xur is always worthwhile just in case you're missing a few items from your arsenal. Here's where you can find Xur and what Exotics he's selling this week.
This week you can find Xur in the EDZ, in the Winding Cove area. For his weapon, Xur is offering Vigilance Wing. Hunters can pick up the Raiju's Harness chest armor, Titans can grab the Aramamentarium armor, and for Warlocks, Xur has the Transversive Steps leg armor.
While Revision Zero might be hogging the Exotic pulse rifle spotlight right now, Vigilance Wing is a classic weapon in that category that's great for PvP. You get all the benefits of a hard-hitting pulse rifle that fires in deadly five-shot bursts, excellent stability, and a handy perk that'll allow you to take vengeance for fallen teammates. If an ally near you is taken out, you'll gain health regeneration and increased movement speed, giving you a chance to score some vengeance points.

This week's roll of Dead Man's Tale is pretty great if you're into long-distance firepower. Vorpal Weapon buffs DMT against bosses, vehicles, and Guardians with their Super active, while Accurized Rounds and Fitted Stock gives the scout rifle an extra long-range kick.

On the other side of the legacy Exotic weapons shopping list, Hawkmoon is average this week. Moving Target is pretty decent for any of those pesky enemies when you're trying to line up your Paracausal Shot and Alloy Magazine ties in nicely with this signature ability, but Corkscrew Rifling and Smooth Grip are passable perks at best.

For the Hunter who prefers to stick to their regular Arc Staff, Raiju's Harness is a pretty great Exotic if you're building your Guardian around that Super. It essentially gives you more time with the Super when you're not whacking enemies on the head with an electrified stick, and the ability to cancel it early means that you can avoid wasting Super energy.

Armamentarium is a bit of a hard sell in the current Destiny 2 meta. While having an extra grenade is handy, the mods on offer will allow you to easily buildcraft your Titan so that you can spam your abilities and quickly restore that energy, repeating the cycle. This Exotic works well with incredibly specific builds, but with so many options available, it's best to grab it if you have some PvP plans involving extra explosive firepower.

Transversive Steps is a strange Exotic to recommend. It'll give your Warlock a speed boost and automatically reload the equipped weapon you have--great for machine guns and rocket launchers--but that's all it does. There are better Exotic leg armor pieces out there like Geomag Stabilizers, and the only other notable thing about Xur's Transversive Steps on offer is that it has a well-rounded spread of stats.
