Well then, welcome back to the new and improving GameSpot Sports. As you can tell, there's been lots of change here on the site (and everywhere else on GameSpot for that matter) and we're still in the process of working some things out. Nonetheless, one of my favorite parts of the site--the Sports Journal--is back up and running, once again providing me the daily spout I need to spew my opinions, rants, rumors, and news your way. I hope you're as glad to see it back as I am.

　　Now, let's get down to some sports business: What's everyone been playing lately? I recently had SSX On Tour for PSP surgically removed from my hands, after spending way too much time with for my recent review and now I'm back to a couple of current favorites--both on PSP: Virtua Tennis World Tour and my import version of TOCA Race Driver 2 (a direct port of the PS2 version of the game, and one of my all time favorite console racers). Today I spent entirely too much time on baseball games, in prep for a special story you should see soon. And speaking of baseball, it looks like 2K Sports finally got around to confirming MLB 2K5 World Series Edition, just in time for the start of the real World Series.

　　And speaking of the fall classic, who are you rooting for? Most of my family is from Houston, so my heart is saying the 'stros. Still, as a Bears fan, it would be nice to see a Windy City team get some love, even if its not the Cubs...
