Last month, FormGen founder Jim Perkins announced that he had started a new company specializing in the creation of episodic online games called WEB Corp. This morning, Perkins announced that ex-Microsoft architect Alex St. John and his company, WildTangent, will be providing the tools necessary to help WEB Corp develop such episodic content.

　　"This partnership makes a lot of sense for us for several reasons," said Jim Perkins, CEO and founder of WEB Corp. "We intend to improve the way that consumers access high-quality video games - namely by episodic content delivery - and WildTangent has the technologies to make this a reality. "The retail market for PC games will be dead in two years," said Alex St. John, CEO of WildTangent, "We believe that WEB Corp. is pioneering the new publishing model for the game industry, and we're happy to part of it."

　　However, WEB Corp has yet to make an announcement on specifically what kind of game it plans to incorporate this new technology into.
