Scream 6 hits theaters next month, and the hype train is in full motion. We've already seen that this is a new kind of Ghostface killer thanks to thetrailer last month. Whoever is under the mask has constructed some sort of lair and shrine to the previous killers from the past installments of the Scream franchise.
With the Super Bowl airing February 12 and stuffed to the gills with major commercials and movie trailers, we are getting an early look at what will be shown for Scream 6. You can check it out below.
This is a direct sequel to last year's Scream relaunch with Sam (Melissa Barrera) and Tara (Jenna Ortega) trying to move on from the horrific events of the previous movie.
Along with Ortega and Barrera, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Mason Gooding, Hayden Panettiere, and Courteney Cox, are all reprising their roles from earlier entries in the franchise. Joining the series this time around are Dermot Mulroney, Henry Czerny, Samara Weaving, and Tony Revolori.
Both Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett return as directors as well as James Vanderbilt and Guy Busick on the script as they did for Scream.
This is the first Scream movie that is set in New York and everyone now has to deal with the things like fire escape ladders, banisters, and populated subways all the while trying not to be Ghostface's latest victims.
Scream 6 will be slashing its way to theaters on March 10, 2023.
