Although the deluge of Star Wars: The Force Awakens TV spots, teasers, and trailers over the past few weeks might suggest that there's very little left to learn about the hugely anticipated blockbuster, most of the new footage has been taken from the same handful of scenes we've been watching for months. This is true of the latest TV spot, which features some suitably laconic new banter from Han Solo. Check it out here:
As reported by Entertainment Weekly, the principal cast and crew of The Force Awakens held a press conference this weekend. One of the topics discussed was the mysterious villain Kylo Ren, played by Adam Driver. "He's very unpolished and unfinished," Driver said. "[The movie] adds a recklessness and something un-neat about it that people don’t normally associate, with the Dark Side being very organized."
Lawrence Kasdan, the film's co-writer, said: "He doesn't have his sh*t all together. You're getting all the contradictions and conflicts that people feel. That's what's unique about what Adam has done."
Star Wars: The Force Awakens opens on December 18, 2015. It stars John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Harrison Ford, Oscar Isaac, Carrie Fisher, and Mark Hamill.
