Now Playing: Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 - Official Sneak Peek
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 stars Chris Pratt (Star-Lord), Zoe Saldana (Gamora), Dave Bautista (Drax), Karen Gillan (Nebula), Vin Diesel (Groot), Bradley Cooper (Rocket), and Michael Rooker (Yondu).
The first movie, which came out in 2014 and was also directed by Gunn, made more than $770 million worldwide, according to Box Office Mojo.
The original ended with Groot being reborn as a baby "tree." Vin Diesel, who voiced Groot, will return to voice the character again. "Vin is an actor and capable of doing many voices," Gunn previously explained. "His Carol Channing is famous in Hollywood."
In other news about Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Diesel recently confirmed that members of the Guardians will show up in 2018's Avengers: Infinity War, though it's not clear which ones.
