At E3 2015 in June, Electronic Arts revealed a new Star Wars mobile game called Galaxy of Heroes, but the publisher didn't say much about it. Now, EA has published the game's first full-length trailer and updated its website with more details.
Galaxy of Heroes is described as an "RPG-style" turn-based game where players collect characters from throughout the sci-fi franchise's history to form a super-team. You can choose to play on the light or dark side, stacking your squad with iconic characters like Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Leia, Darth Vader, Boba Fett, and Stormtroopers, among others. As you'd expect, each has their own specific set of skills and abilities.
Some of the places you'll do battle include famous Star Wars locations such as Hoth, Bespin, and Tatooine. Galaxy of Heroes launches this holiday for iOS and Android devices. Pricing has not been announced, but it sure looks like a free-to-play experience.
Galaxy of Heroes won't be the only Star Wars game from EA launching this holiday. The publisher's DICE team is working on Star Wars Battlefront, which launches for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in November.
