Watch Bob Odenkirk Kick Ass In Training Video For His New Action Movie Nobody-October 2024
Oct 19, 2024 10:25 AM

Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul's Bob Odenkirk stars in the new action movie Nobody where he plays a total badass who, despite his age, is able to beat people to a pulp.

The producers have now released a behind-the-scenes video that shows Odenkirk training for the role, which involved learning how to fight and how to take a hit.

"I knew that I had to go to a whole other level if I wanted to actually do the fighting and not get hurt," he says in the video. "I wanted to commit completely and go all the way into utterly, unapologetic rage."

Odenkirk began training with the stunt coordinators in November 2017 when he learned to punch, kick, and throw in a way that was safe and looked good for the screen. Odenkirk was learning from some of the best in the business, as John Wick's David Leitch produced the movie.

The video is a delight to watch, as Odenkirk--who is 58--puts in hard work to get into shape and become camera-ready for what looks like his biggest action movie role ever.

Nobody is directed by Ilya Naishuller, who previously made the wild and gaming-inspired first-person movie Hardcore Henry. The script was written by John Wick creator Derek Kolstad.

In addition to Odenkirk, the movie stars Christopher Lloyd and Connie Nielsen, and it opens in theaters on March 26.
