Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2

It was revealed back at The Game Awards in 2021, and Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 got its time in the spotlight during Warhammer Skulls, as well. A behind-the-scenes video focused on Saber Interactive's respect and love of the franchise, as well as how using established Warhammer 40,000 lore informed how the combat was designed.

Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader

The first CRPG in the Warhammer franchise, Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader is in development at Owlcat Games and will release on consoles in addition to PC. The studio's RPG credentials aren't in doubt, having previously developed Pathfinder: Kingmaker, which released to positive reviews in 2021.

Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun

There wasn't a Doom-style Warhammer shooter released back in the '90s, but Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun was that game in an alternate reality. The retro-inspired first-person shooter combines slick, fast-paced action with that nostalgic pixelated art style that id Software made so famous, and you'll be able to play it on PC, Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S in 2023.

Warhammer 40,000: Darktide

The previously announced (and delayed) Warhammer 40,000: Darktide is coming out very soon. Developer Fatshark reiterated that the game will be released on September 13 for both Xbox Series X|S and PC, and it's coming in the $40 standard edition and a $60 Imperial Edition that comes with bonus outfits, portrait frames, currency, and cosmetic goodies.

Total War: Warhammer III

One of the biggest Warhammer games available right now (and one of the few non-40,000 games at Warhammer Skulls), Total War: Warhammer III is getting a new campaign. Called Immortal Empires, it was teased with a chaotic pre-rendered trailer that featured a massive raid on a castle and a three-headed dragon. The open beta kicks off in Q3 2022.

Warhammer 40,000: Shootas, Blood & Teef

The Flash-like animation of Warhammer 40,000: Shootas, Blood & Teef definitely helps it stand out from the crowd, and after already releasing a demo, developer Rogueside has shared the final release date: October 20. A new demo with an additional level is available on Steam now, as well, and the full game will come to PC, Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.

Warhammer 40:000, Warpforge

Announced at Warhammer Skulls, Warhammer 40,000 Warpforge is a new digital collectible card game for both PC and mobile. All major factions from the 40,000 universe will be included in the free-to-play game, and there are multiple single-player campaigns to complete before jumping into competitive play. It's developed by Everguild, the studio behind The Horus Heresy Legions, which was also featured at the show.

Warhammer: Vermintide 2

Fatshark is hard at work on Darktide, but it's also continuing to support Warhammer: Vermintide 2 with new content. The latest is Be'lakor, a free update for the existing Chaos Wastes expansion that adds a new level called The Temple of Shadows, a new Shadow Champions enemy type, new boons, traits, and curses, and a new level theme. It's coming very soon, releasing across Xbox, PlayStation, and PC on June 14.

Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate - Daemonhunters

In celebration of the game's recent launch, developer Frontier Developments has released a special requisitions item for Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate - Daemonhunters players. Anyone who starts up the game will receive The Ward Osseus from Grand Master Vardan Kai, and more enhancements--including performance improvements--are coming in future updates.

Warhammer Quest: Silver Tower

The mobile free-to-play adventure Warhammer Quest: Silver Tower will be getting Season 2 content--or rather, it just got it today. The game's new season features new daily quests and gauntlets, as well as a weekly crucible trial. More than 50 new weapons have been added in the new season, as well, and a new campaign based on the Cursed City board game will be arriving in October.

World of Tanks

Wait, that's not a Warhammer game! No, it isn't, but World of Tanks' upcoming Battle Pass Season VIII comes with plenty of Warhammer 40,000 content. The season's core vehicles are inspired by the main factions, and completing each of the three chapters will reward you with a flag from one of these factions.

Warhammer: Chaos & Conquest

Now celebrating three years, the MMO RTS game Warhammer: Chaos & Conquest is rewarding players with a week of prizes, special offers, and a new roving Black Knights challenge that can reward you with valuable crating resources. A new update has also added undead enemies to the game, and the new God Hammer event brings Warlord Harald Hammerstorm to the game--should you beat him, you can recruit him for yourself.

Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor - Martyr

The action-RPG Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor - Martyr has been out on PC, PS4, and Xbox One for nearly four years, but now it's getting a full upgrade for Xbox Series X|S and PS5. Containing native 4K resolution, destructible environments, cross-gen multiplayer, and all DLC, the current-gen versions will be available later this year. The new playable Sororitas class will be coming at a later date.

Warhammer 40,000: Gladius

To celebrate the event, Warhammer 40,000: Gladius is getting a new unit for every playable faction in a bundle called the Escalation Pack. Hive Guards, Skitarii Rangers, Megatrakk Scrapjets, and more are included, and the game is currently free to try on Steam for the duration of Warhammer Skulls--and it's 90% off if you want to keep it.

Blood Bowl 3

Blood Bowl 3 hasn't officially released yet, but fans eager to try it out can participate in the third beta beginning today and running through June 12. The latest beta phase includes two new factions alongside the Black Orcs, Imperial Nobility, Elven Union, and Dwarfs. The game is the latest in a line of Warhammer-themed strategy sports games that are basically what you'd expect "sports" to mean in such a violent universe.

Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector

Slitherine Software's other Warhammer 40,000 strategy game got plenty of love, too. Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector is getting an update today that includes Planetary Supremacy features like HQ upgrades and "complete tech trees for all factions" in the expansion. A new faction pack DLC called Sisters of Battle will also be available later this year alongside a free wave-based mode update called Daeomonic Incursion.

Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus

Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus features turn-based gameplay that is comparable to XCOM, and if that sounds like something you want to play on the Steam Deck, you're in luck. As of today, the game is fully verified on Steam Deck, and it's available at an 80% discount on Steam. On other platforms, it has a 70% discount, and if you want the Heretek DLC or to upgrade to the Omnissah Edition on Steam, it also has a 55% discount. If you have Xbox Game Pass Ultimate or Xbox Live Gold and aren't sure what to make of Mechanicus, it's free to play from June 2-5.

Warhammer 40,000: Tacticus

The mobile tactics game Warhammer 40,000: Tacticus is available for pre-registration now, and it's coming to both iOS and Android. The game launches with eight different factions and parallel campaigns, with the narrative written by series veteran Matt Forbeck. Alongside the campaign, the game also features PvP as well as a cooperative option for taking down bosses. There will also be guild-versus-guild battles at a later date.

The Horus Heresy: Legions

Beginning June 2, The Horus Heresy: Legions players will be able to play the expansion Titandeath. It's the biggest expansion for the game thus far and lets you take Loyalist or Traitor Titans onto the battlefield, complete with a new building tool to customize their exact look and loadout. Additional content is also available for the existing Titan armies. The Traitor Titans will arrive on June 17, and a Titandeath Bundle DLC is available for purchase now.

Warhammer 40,000: Battle Sister

The VR-exclusive Warhammer 40,000: Battle Sister is getting a whole new way to play. Available on Meta Quest, the new Battle Sister update lets you use voice commands to use the acts of faith available to Ophelia. Rather than press buttons like before, you can now shout vocal cues--think of it like the shouts available in Skyrim via Kinect, only without having to look at other people's puzzled expressions because you're wearing a VR headset.

Warhammer Combat Cards

Warhammer Combat Cards is currently running a new Imperial- and Chaos Knights-themed event that offers more cosmetic items, event types, cards, and a Clan Leaderboard feature, along with significant discounts on purchases for the duration of the event. You'll be able to temporarily control special Warlords like the Imperial Knight Crusader and Chaos Knight Abominant during this period.

Necromunda: Hired Gun

Necromunda: Hired Gun is a fast-paced shooter not unlike Doom. That means there's a lot of blood. Want even more red? A new Spire Noble skin pack is available now for free, giving a "blood red" look to your outfit and knife.

Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Soul Arena

A new captain is now available in the mobile battler Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Soul Arena. It's Avalenor, the "Stoneheart King," who can get an extra unit space after dropping to low health. He's also capable of using most available units, which should open up new strategic opportunities. The game is available not just on iOS and Android, but also on PC via Steam.
