Nov 17, 2024 11:26 PM

EVE Valkyrie, the space shooter released along the Oculus Rift headset, is also going to be released for the HTC VR and PlayStation VR headsets in the future. No matter the headset used to play the game, EVE Valkyrie players will be able to enjoy the game alongside other players without limitations thanks to cross-play support.

Earlier today, EVE Valkyrie executive producer Owen O' Brien has announced that the game will support cross-play between PlayStation VR, Oculus Rift and HTC Vive. Mr. O'Brien also revealed some new details on the upcoming Carrier Assault mode, which has been described as an evolution of the current Control mode. In Carrier Assault mode, players will have to weaken the shields of a carrier ship, take down defensive turrets and then infiltrate the ship interior to destroy its critical core. You can learn more about Carrier Assault Mode by checking out the new trailer released today right below.

EVE Valkyrie is definitely one of the most interesting VR games now available in all regions. With an intense team-based experience, fully immersive 360-degree action combat, customization features and different ship classes with different strengths and weaknesses, those playing the game will be busy for quite a long time.

EVE Valkyrie is now available as an early access title for Oculus Rift. The game will also be made available for PlayStation VR and HTC Vive later this year. We will keep you updated on the game as soon as more comes in on it so stay tuned for all the latest news.
