Game music has come pretty far since the blips and bleeps of the 1980s, and maestro Video Games Live has been taking it even further. VGL is a concert series that celebrates music from games by featuring full orchestral performances, video projections of games themselves, and appearances by some of the industry's biggest composers. Fans in Philly can expect to hear pieces from Halo, The Legend of Zelda, Final Fantasy, and more. The show begins at 8 p.m. local time at the Merriam Theatre.
