VF2 Punches Its Way to PC
VF2 Punches Its Way to PC-October 2024
Oct 18, 2024 8:32 AM

Sega announced Wednesday that it has released Virtua Fighter 2 for the PC. With network play, chat, and more, VF2 will set you back about US$39.99, and it's optimized for MMX and Pentium technology. Developed by AM2, the PC version of the game differs from its Saturn and arcade cousins quite a bit.

The network options allow up to 10 players to duke it out tournament-style in the game's team battle mode, over TCP/IP, IPX, modem, or the Internet. There's also a portrait mode, exclusive to the PC, which gives PC players the chance to check out computer-generated art of the characters for the first time in the US.

The game will be available beginning this week and has a minimum system requirement of a 90MHz Pentium with 16MB of memory, and supports play on any keyboard or Win 95 compatible joystick.
