Today, two third-party 3D card vendors announced plans to release boards based on the new GeForce 2 GTS Ultra that Nvidia unveiled this morning. Creative plans to release Ultra cards in October, while Hercules revealed that it has an aggressive September ship schedule for its product. Both products follow the reference board design we previewed this morning, sporting a full 64MB of 460MHz double-data rate SDRAM. The two announced GeForce2 Ultra cards carry a suggested retail price of US$499.
