V Rising – How To Beath Lidia the Chaos Archer and Increase Inventory Space-October 2024
Oct 22, 2024 5:17 AM

Secrets of Gloomrot, V Rising’s first major update, introduces many great additions to the game. One of the most significant is the Leatherworking Station, a brand-new structure that helps you create bags and expand your inventory. Before this, you could quickly run out of space, especially as you reached higher gear levels and started looting different resources.

This issue won’t bother you as much as before with the Gloomrot update. However, you must first unlock the Leatherworking Station and the recipe for crafting bags. You will get them as a reward for defeating Lidia the Chaos Archer, a level 30 boss that old V Rising players already know well.

How to find Lidia the Chaos Archer

Lidia the Chaos Archer is a roaming boss, so she is quite challenging to locate. She wanders around Farbane Woods, walking on the streets of Vardoran. You could find her between the Bandit Copper Mine and the Wolf Den, but she likes to cover great distances, so the most efficient way to find her is by tracking her blood. With the Gloomrot update, you just need to open the V Blood menu by pressing K on the keyboard and then select the boss, so there is no Blood Altar anymore. Follow the highlighted path, and you will be able to locate Lidia the Chaos Archer quickly.

How to defeat Lidia the Chaos Archer

Lidia can be a challenging boss to deal with. If you play with a clan, you will have an easier time against her. However, if you are playing solo, ensure your Gear Level is at least 30, the same as hers. You could also try to battle her if you are one or two levels behind, but this won’t be easy. You must learn her moves and be able to avoid being hit. Otherwise, you will quickly get defeated.

At the beginning of the fight, she will throw three arrows at you in quick succession. However, they are pretty easy to predict, and you can avoid them without any significant difficulty. After she starts losing some health, she will begin throwing AoE attacks at you, and they deal a considerable amount of damage.

You will see red circles on the ground right before these bolts fall, so try to avoid them by using the Veil of Blood ability. Once you defeat Lidia, drink her V Blood to unlock the Leatherworking Station and the bag recipe. You will also get The Devourer, a structure that can tear apart equipment, components, and items and give you raw materials in exchange, and the Chaos Volley spell.

How to build the Leatherworking Station

You can build the Leatherworking Station when you return to your base after defeating Lidia the Chaos Archer. You need 12 Plank and 12 Leather to do so. Plank is obtained from refined Wood at the Samwill, while Leather is created from refined Rugged Hide at the Tannery.

How to expand the Inventory in V Rising

Interact with the Leatherworking Station and start crafting the bags you need. Initially, you can only build small pouches, but you will unlock new recipes later. You can create gem, herb, and research bags to carry more gems, herbs, books, and research material. Once ready, take them from the container and equip them to one of the free bag slots in your inventory.
