Sony Computer Entertainment of America announced on Tuesday that Star Ocean: The Second Story has shipped to stores. Released last year in Japan, the Star Ocean sequel was developed by Enix, best known for its insanely popular Dragon Quest series. Sony claims that the game offers more than 100 hours of gameplay and includes more than 80 possible endings.
"We are truly thrilled to have a company with the incredible heritage and experience that Enix brings producing games for the PlayStation game console," said Ami Blaire, director of product marketing for Sony Computer Entertainment America. "This exceptional title strengthens PlayStation's position as the leading platform for RPG enthusiasts."
The import version of Star Ocean: The Second Story received a score of 8.0 when videogames.com reviewed it last year.
