[Update 2] Mafia 3 has been confirmed by publisher 2K with a full reveal to follow on August 5 at Gamescom.

　　[Update] Blizzard is going to be hosting a gamescom 2015 briefing as well, and filed a trademark for “Council of Glades”. The briefing will take place on Wednesday August 5, 2015. Council of Glades could be an expansion for World of Warcraft or Diablo or a completely new IP.

　　Ubisoft has announced that this year’s attendees will be able to get hands-on time with all of their hottest games, including Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, Rainbow Six Siege, For Honor, Just Dance 2016, Trackmania Turbo and more. Bandai Namco announced that Dark Souls 3 will be playable at Gamescom 2015 for the first time.

　　“Understanding players’ initial thoughts and reactions to the games we’re developing is incredibly important, and by making the Ubisoft games at Gamescom playable, we’re hoping that attendees will have a much more interactive and memorable experience and that their feedback will be even more applicable to our creative teams.”

Gamescom could be the event where we will get announcements for Red Dead Redemption 2 and Mafia 3
