[Update] Since our original post, Blizzard has denied that their tweet is related to Diablo 3 on the Switch, and stated that it was purely a fun community engagement piece.
“We can assure you we’re not that clever,” a spokesperson for Blizzard Entertainment wrote to Polygon. “[It was] meant to be a fun community engagement piece. We have nothing to announce.”
[Original story] Diablo 3 Switch has been teased on Twitter by Blizzard following recent rumors about a Switch port being in development.
Blizzard’s tease shows a short video of a Diablo 3 nightlight being ‘switched’ off, which might very well be a confirmation that a Diablo 3 Switch version is in the pipeline. ”Sweet dreams”, the accompanied text reads. We’ve included the tweet below:

Rumors about a Switch version of the game surfaced last week following a tweet from videogame journalist Marcus Sellars, which stated that a Switch port is in development at Blizzard. Said to release early next year, the port allegedly features local play with multiple Switch consoles.
