Sony will soon launch a beta for the upcoming PlayStation 4 system update 6.0.
PlayStation Japan is currently looking for beta testers for the upcoming PS4 firmware update, and it’s only a matter of time before Sony Europe and US will do the same.
Those who want to take part in the beta – you’ll be able to sign up through July 27th. Applicants must be over 18 years and need to be subscribed to PlayStation Plus or PlayStation Now.
At the moment of writing, the European and US subscription pages aren’t online yet, but we’ll update this post as soon as they are.
Further details about the features included with the 6.0 firmware update are unknown at this point.
The current software version, system software 5.55, was released for Sony's console back in May of this year.
