Ubisoft Never Had Any Intention For Players To Unlock Everything In For Honor-November 2024
Nov 14, 2024 12:04 PM

Earlier this week, we reported that to unlock everything in For Honor, the third person game released by Ubisoft on PC and consoles last month, players may have to spend $732 or play the game for a humongous amount of time. In a recent livestream focused on the game, the For Honor director Damien Kieken elaborated on the matter, but his response is bound to get even more players mad.

According to Kieken, the team never had any intention for players to unlock everything in For Honor, citing World of Warcraft and MOBA games as examples of games where it's impossible to unlock everything without investing some serious time and money.

We never had an intention for you to unlock everything in the game.

In World of Warcraft, you would never try to unlock everything for all the characters of the whole game. Same for any MOBA, you’re not trying to unlock all the content for all the characters in the game.

Kieken also added that they expected players to only play three characters at most, with cosmetic items being considered as the end-game content that can only be unlocked after playing for several weeks.

For Honor is now out on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. You can learn more about the game by checking out Dave's in-depth review.
