According to Ubisoft, Nintendo’s upcoming new console, currently dubbed Nintendo NX, is a great machine.

　　Ubisoft’s CEO, Yves Guillemot, recently talked to Gamespot following a Ubisoft presentation that Gamespot attended.

　　"The new Nintendo [console] is a fantastic machine”, Guillemot told Gamespot.

　　“It's really a new approach, it's really Nintendo, [which is] coming with something new again. We love it."

　　Some months back, Ubisoft’s already stated to be quite positive about the Nintendo brand and the upcoming NX, and according to Ubisoft’s EMEA executive director, Alain Corre, the NX will recapture a lot of lapsed Wii players.

　　“We have always appreciated the relationship with Nintendo, the co-creation and the fact that they are really concentrating on quality – they have fantastic brands,” Corre told website MCV back in June.

　　“And they are addressing the family market in a very different way, their own way, which we appreciate. We have done a lot of products and successes with Nintendo in the past, and we believe that the NX will recapture a lot the lapsed Wii players. So we will see when they release it, but we are confident.”

　　Ubisoft already announced that Just Dance will be released on Nintendo’s new console, but he also confirmed to Gamespot that they have more projects are in the works for the console.

　　Ubisoft is "working on some [other] projects" for the Nintendo NX, the Ubisoft executive told Gamespot.

　　Meanwhile, a lot has been written about the NX, but Nintendo hasn’t revealed anything about their mystery console, which is scheduled for a release this March. According to Eurogamer, the Nintendo NX might use NVIDIA's Tegra mobile chip, and could be capable of emulating both Gamecube and Wii games.
