It's two days to PocketStation and counting. January 23, 1999 will be the first day that the PocketStation is widely available in Japan - after a month delay shortly before its originally planned pre-Christmas release.
To celebrate the availability, Sony Computer Entertainment is running several commercials which show off the PokeSte (shortened version of PocketStation) in sometimes funny ways.
Our favorite, of course, is the Bumbling Cymbals Man (as we call him), who accidentally gets too caught up in his PocketStation playing to notice that the rest of the orchestra is playing to the climax of the song. Fumbling to put away his PocketStation - he's playing the PokeSte game from Crash Bandicoot 3, which isn't on the US version - tragedy ensues.
