GameSpot has learned that Sony Computer Entertainment is currently developing two new RPGs based on the Arc The Lad series. In development for Bandai's handheld WonderSwan Color is Arc The Lad: Kijin Fukkatsu. The game takes place three years after Arc The Lad III, and Elk (one of the main characters in Arc The Lad II) returns as the main character in this spin-off. The other game is a yet-to-be named Arc The Lad title for the PlayStation 2. Though no details have been disclosed, the latest installment in the series is expected to feature new main characters. Both are scheduled for a release sometime in 2002 in Japan.
