The Tundra Madness tournament, to be run on the MSN Gaming Zone and featuring Monster Truck Madness 2, starts Friday with a new truck to race – the Toyota Tundra. The tournament will be sponsored by Toyota Motor Sales.
A real Tundra, valued at about US$27,000, will be given away as the grand prize in the tournament. This is the largest prize yet offered in the MSN Gaming Zone's history. The Tundra itself will be available at auto dealerships on June 1, 1999.
"The Zone and Toyota will send four finalists to the Toyota Tundra manufacturing plant in Indiana, where they will compete in front of a live audience for the truck," said Adam Waalkes, product unit manager of the MSN Gaming Zone. "The finalists will get to witness firsthand the Tundras being assembled at the Indiana plant."
