Following the finale of HBO's The Last of Us, actor Troy Baker has reflected on his time working on the show and revealed his most memorable moment from Season 1. Warning: The following contains spoilers for Episode 3 and Episode 9 of The Last of Us.

In an HBO Max Q&A, Baker--who originally played Joel Miller in The Last of Us games--discussed what it was like seeing Ashley Johnson, the original Ellie, starring as a different character. In Episode 9, Johnson plays Ellie's mom Anna, where it was revealed that she was bitten as she gave birth to Ellie. Baker said that this scene was "meta" for him, adding, "...you do have this handoff from one Ellie to the other."

Now Playing: The Last of Us Finale Breakdown: The Great Joel Debate, Merle Dandridge Interview

The actor said that although he's known Johnson for over a decade now, he sometimes forgets "how fierce of an actor she is" and "knew she was going to crush it" in the role of Anna. Baker added that he thought that scene was the most "dense, dramatic moment of the entire season" and he wasn't ready to witness it when he saw it for the first time.

In a separate Q&A, when it came to revealing his most memorable moment from the series, Baker said it was from Episode 3, which featured Bill and Frank. He explained that it was the final supper scene that had him ruminating and unpacking the most.

"Hope, fear, love, gratitude all conveyed without a single word of dialogue and you see it wash over his face and all disappear into a smile as Bill emerges with the bottle and two glasses," he said. "That to me is a flawless, flawless scene."

When asked what his absolute favorite episode was of the season he said, "It's a toss-up, three, five, or seven, but Episode 3 probably takes the cake." Baker also said that one of his favorite game references was also from Episode 3, the final shot of the open window, which mirrors the in-game menu.

The Last of Us Season 2 has already been announced, but both writer Neil Druckmann and showrunner Craig Mazin said that the upcoming second season won't cover the entirety of Part II.
