The 25-year-old designer of Seven Kingdoms and the Capitalism series of business simulations, Trevor Chan, has agreed to a five-year publishing agreement with Interactive Magic. The deal calls for Chan's Hong Kong-based company Enlight Software to produce at least three new titles during this time span. Enlight Software will also provide a major upgrade to Capitalism Plus (more than likely the MBA package revealed last month) as well as other existing titles.
Interactive Magic has published all of Enlight Software's titles to date. According to Interactive Magic, Seven Kingdoms has sold almost 200,000 copies worldwide.
"I am very excited about extending my current relationship with Interactive Magic into a long-term agreement," said Trevor Chan. "We have shared tremendous success with Capitalism, Capitalism Plus, and Seven Kingdoms and plan to build an even stronger partnership in the future."
