A new Transformers game tied to the upcoming movie may be in the works. Franchise owner Hasbro has filed a trademark (via Seibertron) for Transformers: Age of Extinction, which covers "interactive entertainment software," specifically "computer game software."
Age of Extinction is the subtitle for Michael Bay's upcoming Transformers film, which is scheduled to hit theaters in summer 2014. A movie tie-in game has not been officially announced and it is possible that Hasbro filed the trademark as a means to cover its bases.
High Moon Studios developed the most recent Transformers game, 2012's Transformers: Fall of Cybertron. The studio was also behind Transformers: War for Cybertron (2010) and Transformers: Dark of the Moon (2011).
