In other Japanese news, another prolific PlayStation developer has jumped on board the Dreamcast gravy train with another high-profile (in Japan at least) game taken from a well-known series.
Toukon Retsuden 4 (or T4 as it's being hailed) is emerging as big competition for Sega's own Giant Gram: All Pro Wrestling featuring Virtua game.Developed by Yuke's (Toukon Retsuden for PlayStation, Soukaigi for Square and Eretzvaju), whose other Dreamcast project is a video game adaptation of the Japanese manga hit Berserk, T4 is one of Japan's biggest wrestling series, a fact underscored by the number "4" after the name Toukon Retsuden. Basically, as popular as WWF Warzone or Attitude is in America, T4 is ripe for translation and localization, much in the way Activision's earlier Toukon Retsuden games were.
If Sega's smart, it will release either its own wrestling game or buy the rights to T4 and slap some kind of license on it. Everyone knows how big wrestling games are in the US, and if SOA wants a bigger piece of the pie, a kick-ass wrestling game would go a long way toward helping the cause. Keep your eyes peeled for more details.
