EA's Battlefield 1 debuts at the top of the UK sales chart for the week ending October 22. According to sales monitor Chart-Track, the latest entry's week one sales are more than those of Battlefield 4 and Battlefield Hardline combined.
Chart-Track also notes that the week one sales of Battlefield 1 are "just under the amount generated by Ubisoft's week one [sales] for Tom Clancy's The Division." Battlefield also dethrones FIFA 17, another EA title from the top spot, sending it down to No.2.
At No.3 is Mafia 3, followed by Gears of War 4 at No.4. Warner Bros. Interactive's Batman: Return to Arkham debuts at No.5 and is the only other brand new entry in the chart, alongside Battlefield 1.
