Activision will release two additional stages and five more skaters as free DLC for Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5, the publisher announced on Friday. Right now, the game-which isn't exactly being showered with praise from gamers and critics alike--has eight stages and 10 skaters.

　　This announcement comes after Pro Skater 5's much-criticized release on Tuesday; players quickly reported bugs and other issues. It is unclear if this free DLC is in any way a reaction to the problems.

　　For its part, Activision has responded, saying it is working with Pro Skater 5 developers Robomodo and Disruptive Games on a patch that will address some of the skateboarding game's issues. However, there is no time table for when this patch--or the free DLC--will be released.

　　Pro Skater 5 is available today across Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 editions, which lack the "seamless" online multiplayer featured included in the new-generation versions, are scheduled to launch in November for $40.
