It has been a while coming, but the first Xbox 360-exclusive downloadable content for Tomb Raider: Underworld is finally ready to go and is now available on Xbox Live. First announced for a holiday release, Beneath the Ashes has seen two subsequent delays, first to February 10 and then again earlier this month due to what Eidos called "unexpected technical issues."
Beneath the Ashes works as an epilogue to Tomb Raider: Underworld. Players once again assume the role of the titular heroine, delving into a long-forgotten network of catacombs beneath Croft Manner. The 800-Microsoft-point pack ($10) also fleshes out Lara's wardrobe with six new costumes and offers an additional 125 achievement points.
Along with announcing Beneath the Ashes' availability, Eidos said today that the second Xbox 360-exclusive pack--Lara's Shadow--will be available in March. For more information, check out GameSpot's review of the Beneath the Ashes expansion for Tomb Raider: Underworld.
