Although a sequel to Respawn's 2014 shooter Titanfall remains officially unannounced, the evidence for its existence continues to mount. It looks like retailer GameStop is now advertising the unannounced game at its stores, suggesting an official announcement may be coming soon.

GameSpot has contacted GameStop in an attempt to get more details. Titanfall 2 does not show up when you search for it through GameStop's website.
Titanfall 2 was confirmed about a year ago, though neither Respawn nor EA has yet to make an official announcement. Unlike the first game, which was exclusive to Xbox systems and PC, the sequel is believed to be a multiplatform release, though specifics have not yet been divulged.
Earlier this month, toy-maker MacFarlane revealed, potentially by accident, that its toy line based on Titanfall would arrive later this year alongside the sequel. EA has officially said that the "next Titanfall experience," as it's being referred to, will release sometime in EA's fiscal 2017, which lasts from April 1, 2016 to March 31, 2017.
Lead writer Jesse Stern recently revealed in an interview that Titanfall 2 would include a single-player campaign. He also mentioned that a Titanfall television series is in the works at Lionsgate TV.
