New developer Tilted Mill Entertainment has recently updated its official Web site with information on its first, as yet unnamed, project. Since Tilted Mill announced that it had acquired a license to use Stainless Steel Studios' Empire Earth engine a few months back, we weren't surprised to learn that the company's first project is a historical strategy game of sorts--one that can also be described as a "society sim," according to the recent Web site update.

　　The game will purportedly combine elements of in-depth strategy gameplay with a society simulation in which all the non-player characters think, feel, and act individually. Starting out as a humble local leader, the player's goal in the game will be to gain power and eventually rise to rule a vast empire. Power in the game won't be a commodity that can simply be bought or fought for, though, and to succeed, players will need to focus on establishing a relationship of trust and cooperation with their people.

　　No further details have been released pertaining to Tilted Mill Entertainment's first game at this time, save for the fact that it's scheduled for release sometime in 2004. We'll bring you more information on the game as soon as it becomes available.
