Today at the 2014 Consumer Electronics Show, PC manufacturer Digital Storm announced its own hybrid Steam Machine called the "Bolt II." Most notably, the small-form-factor (SFF) PC allows you to dual-boot both Windows and Steam OS.
Pricing for the Bolt II begins at $1,899, GameSpot sister site ZDnet reports. However, a second model featuring a Core i7-4770K Haswell processor, Nvidia GeForce GTX 780 Ti graphics card, 16GB of RAM, 120GB SSD, and a 1TB hard drive will go for $2,584.
All configurations of the Bolt II will go on sale later this month.
Digital Storm has also boasted about the Bolt II's cooling features, labeling the system as "the most thermally efficient SFF computer available." This is possible thanks to a built-in 240mm liquid cooling system. What's more, the Bolt II features a HyrdoLux control board, allowing users to control the balance between cooling and system noise, as well as the computer's lighting.
The Bolt II will square off against at least a dozen competitors, including Valve's own Steam Machine, which the company is expected to provide more details on later today. Digital Storm's Steam Machine is now the third third-party Steam Machine announced so far, following systems from iBuyPower and CyberPowerPC.
