These New Lego Star Wars Sets Look Awesome-November 2024
Nov 1, 2024 11:27 PM

Several new Lego Star Wars sets are now up for preorder, featuring iconic scenes from the franchise--including the Death Star's trash compactor sequence, A New Hope's trench run, and Jedi training on Dagobah. You'll need to have a fair bit of time on your hands to put them together, as the smallest set contains nearly 700 pieces.

Death Star Trench Run Diorama

$60

The Death Star Trench Run Diorama is the smallest of the new sets, clocking in at 665 pieces. The scene recreates a tense scene across the Death Star and includes both Luke Skywalker's X-wing and two TIE fighters. Once those vehicles are put together, you'll need to build out the walls of the Death Star and attach a small plaque that reads, "The Force is strong with this one." Preorders are now open, with products shipping as early as April 26.

Death Star Trash Compactor Diorama

$90

It's not the largest of the three sets, but it is the most expensive. This 802-piece Lego set features Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Princess Leia, and Chewbacca, as they struggle to survive the iconic trash compactor scene from A New Hope. On the outside of the diorama, you'll find R2-D2 and C-3PO as they try to turn off the machine. The coolest feature of this set? Its walls are movable, letting you constrict the action and push all the characters together. Preorders are open and products are expected to begin shipping on April 26.

Dagobah Jedi Training Diorama

$80

If you're looking to sink a lot of time into building a Lego set, this 1000-piece behemoth is the one to preorder. Featuring Yoda's hut on Dagobah, you'll get to recreate the world's swampy surroundings--complete with a surprisingly detailed interior of Yoda's humble abode. Included in the set are Yoda, Luke Skywalker, and R2-D2 figures, along with a torn-up X-wing. The finished product clocks in at nearly 12-inches long and sits on the same black display case as the other two dioramas in the series, making it a great centerpiece for your shelf, office, or game room.
