Paris-based publisher Nevrax Ltd. and consultancy The Themis Group inked a deal recently that will see Themis provide a number of back-end and marketing services for Nevrax's upcoming MMORPG title, The Saga of Ryzom. Currently in closed beta, the game is due to launch in the U.S and Europe sometime in the second quarter of this year.
The deal will see Themis provide a global marketing campaign for Ryzom, as well as customer support and community management during the Beta phase. While the game has yet to pick up a publisher (a publishing agreement with Wannadoo recently expired), Nevrax is prepared to launch its title on its own, a Themis spokesperson told GameSpot today.
While the game has received little press in the U.S., the title did have a presence at last May's E3--a playable version of the game was on the show floor. The Themis Group provides consultancy services to companies including Intel, Funcom, and Mutable Realms.
