HEAT.NET said Wednesday that it will sponsor the online community theglobe.com's gaming area, kicking off with the demo version of Ritual Entertainment's Sin, the full version of Net Fighter, and the demo version of Plane Crazy, all from SegaSoft. A demo of SegaSoft's Vigilance will be online in the near future.
All three titles will be available on theglobe.com free of charge for its members.
Theglobe.com is a large online community featuring 1.8 million members around the world and a number of retailers in a global marketplace, as well as home-page building, discussion forums, and other free services.
"This partnership will make it easier and faster for members of theglobe.com to enjoy our HEAT.NET exclusives," said Sarah Anderson, vice president and general manager of SegaSoft's HEAT.NET. "Theglobe.com members are a perfect audience to experience the thrills of multiplayer gaming on HEAT.NET, and we will bring new titles to the site including SegaSoft's Vigilance."
