If you've watched every episode of The Witcher Netflix series and replayed The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt again but still haven't had your fill of Geralt of Rivia, there's a mod for that. Resident Evil 2 owners on PC can now play as the White Wolf in Capcom's survival horror remake, for some reason.

　　Not that it needs to justify itself with a valid reason. Whether it's modding a "Macho Man" Randy Savage dragon into Skyrim or replacing Left 4 Dead 2's zombies with blood-thirsty Teletubbies, there's already plenty of proof that the more nonsensical your mod is the better. Geralt stands out like a sore thumb roaming Racoon City's police station, which is probably the point. Watching the monster slayer wield a pistol just looks wrong but is also kind of hilarious.

　　The mod was created by Wiwilz, who also developed a mod that replaces Claire with Ciri--just in case you want a taste of The Witcher in both Resident Evil 2 playthroughs. The Geralt mod is the better of the two, though, purely because it features facial animations to give it a more natural look. You can watch footage of the mod above or download it yourself at Nexus Mods--just note that you'll also need to download fluffyquack's mod manager for installation.
