Like for several other PC games, the modding scene has been rather active for The Witcher 3, allowing players to change the experience in ways not possible in the regular game. Unfortunately, modding is currently limited by the tools released by CDPR, but it seems like it will be possible to do more in this regard in the future thanks to some advanced modding tools.

　　Recently, a few videos showcasing some of these The Witcher 3 advanced modding tools have been shared online. One of the videos, in particular, showcases a brand new in-game cutscene that has been put together with an unpublished version of the w2scene encoder and other yet to be published tools. 　　Speaking of The Witcher 3 mods, last week hard working modder Essenthy shared some additional screenshots from the next update of the Super Turbo Lighting Mod, which promises to bring back the lighting system that was featured in the Sword of Destiny trailer. Most of the areas of the game will receive an overhaul, but Toussaint will be left almost untouched, as Essenthy feels like the reworked lighting system wouldn't work with the areas peculiar design.

　　With the release of the PlayStation 4 Pro, even The Witcher 3, which, apparently, won't receive a PS4 Pro update, has benefited from some improvements. Not too long ago, a new video showcased how the game loads much faster on the new Sony console equipped with an SSD.

　　The Witcher 3 is now available in all regions on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine expansions are also available right now on all formats.
