One of the most impressive mods now available for The Witcher 3, the popular role playing game by CD Projekt Red released last year on PC and consoles, is the Super Turbo Lighting Mod, which introduces some changes to the lighting system, trying to replicate the system that has been seen in the beautiful Sword of Destiny trailer released a few years back. The current Mod Kit does limit what modders can do, but Essenthy has been working hard to overcome these limitations and release yet another version of the mod, which has been previewed in a new video.
The new The Witcher 3 Super Turbo Lighting Mod 2.3 preview video, which can be watched below, focuses on how the new lighting system changes the look of some of the Velen areas, like Crookback Bog. Needless to say, everything looks truly amazing.
Some of the changes that will be implemented in the yet to be released The Witcher 3 Super Turbo Lighting Mod have been detailed a couple of weeks back. Apparently, Essenthy found a new setting that can make the game look more similar to the already mentioned Sword of Destiny trailer. It's also been confirmed that Toussaint, the new area introduced by the Blood and Wine expansion, will not receive any major change, as the area's peculiar look wouldn't fit the changes that will be introduced by the new version of the mod.
The Witcher 3 is now available in all regions on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. We will let you know when the Super Turbo Lighting Mod new version becomes available as soon as possible, so stay tuned for all the latest news.
