The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt, the successful role playing game developed by CD Projekt RED now available on consoles and PC, is going to receive its second expansion, called Blood and Wine, in the near future. Not much has been said about the expansion's release date, not counting a generic first half of 2016 date, but it seems like it may be released next month, according to a Polish magazine.

　　According to PLY Online, one of the biggest Polish gaming sites, The Witcher 3 Blood and Wine will be released on April 26th, a release date that would definitely fit in the generic first half of 2016 date that's  already been confirmed. April 26th is also a Tuesday, making it a likely release date, considering the Hearts of Stone expansion has also been released on a Tuesday. Still, CD Projekt RED has yet to say anything on the matter, so we should take this with a grain of salt until an official confirmation comes in.

　　There isn't a whole lot we currently know about The Witcher 3 Blood and Wine expansion. A couple of weeks ago, it's been revealed that the expansion will feature completely new music written from scratch due to the fact that Blood and Wine will be set in a brand new region, the duchy of Toussaint. As the area has been untouched by the war, Toussaint will feel pretty different from the war ravaged Velen and the islands of Skellige.

　　Two months ago, more details on The Witcher 3 Blood and Wine have emerged online thanks to a new interview with senior story writer Jakub Szamalek, who has confirmed that Blood and Wine will feature a very memorable antagonist and a rather complex story that players will certainly enjoy.
