With almost a month gone by since the release of Blood and Wine, the second and final add-on adventure for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Geralt’s adventures have finally come to an end for those who are done with this expansion. However, there’s a secret so well hidden in this last piece of content that even if you played the game twice, you still won’t have any luck finding it, unless instead of looking for it through normal means, you use a mod that lets you teleport to unreachable areas.
It is a painting on an easel placed between two pillars, and it is no ordinary painting. It is actually a photograph of the team at CD Projekt RED that is responsible for the game itself and The Witcher 3 Blood and Wine expansion. It is not an earth-shaking secret, but it sure is a very special one; a simple, nice goodbye from the people who brought such a remarkable game to life. You can check out the video below to see the photograph of the developers placed in the middle of nowhere.
If you would like to find this impressive Easter egg for yourself, you would have to make sure you have this mod to run on PC version of the game. Console players are out of luck here.
The Witcher 3 Blood and Wine expansion was released this year on May 31 for all three platforms: PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Players who are planning to play the expansion will need The Witcher 3 base game, which is currently available for 50% off on Steam, or you can buy the game along with both expansions for $50.24, which is not bad at all!
