Daryl Dixon's world just got a little bigger with brand-new additions to the spin-off's cast. Deadline is reporting that actors Clémence Poésy (The Essex Serpent) and Adam Nagaitis (Chernobyl) are set to star opposite Norman Reedus in the upcoming spin-off aptly titled The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon.
The series will be set after the series conclusion of The Walking Dead, with Reedus' titular Dixon finding himself transported across the Atlantic to France and a whole new world of terror awaiting him and his crew.
Poesy, mostly known from Christopher Nolan's Tenet, or her recurring roles in the Harry Potter franchise as Fleur Delacour, will play Isabelle, a member of a progressive religious group. She joins up with Daryl on a journey across France and is forced to confront her dark past.
Nagaitis will play a man called Quinn. He's described as a displaced Brit who has become a major player in post-apocalyptic Paris as a black market kingpin. He also is the owner of the Demimonde, an underground nightclub. This marks Nagaitis' return to AMC after his critically-acclaimed role in The Terror.
Originally intended to also star fellow Walking Dead alum Melissa McBride alongside Reedus, but the actress left the production in April, the show is just one of several Walking Dead spin-offs in production at the moment. There are two additional shows focused on hugely popular characters from the original series: New York-set The Walking Dead: Dead City (formerly titled Isle of the Dead) starring Lauren Cohan and Jeffery-Dean Morgan reprising their Maggie and Negan characters, respectively. The other focused on the Rick and Michonne characters, played by Andrew Lincoln and Danai Gurira.
The franchise also includes Fear The Walking Dead, Walking Dead: The World Beyond, and the most recent Tales of the Walking Dead.
The Walking Dead concludes its 11th and final season on November 20.
