The Frontier is a dangerous and deadly place. Telltale Games released the launch trailer for The Walking Dead: A New Frontier which will debut the two-part premiere later this month, right before the holidays.

　　A New Frontier puts you in the tattered baseball jersey of Javier, a man trying to protect his family against a group of survivors called 'The New Frontier.' Lucky for Javier that series veteran, Clementine, will be joining him on his quest to save his family. Fans of the graphic novel will also be thrilled to see that Jesus will be lending his services (and his knives) to your cause. In typical The Walking Dead fashion, things are not what they seem at first and danger lurks away every corner in the from the dead and living both.

　　Anyone new to the series should be able to pick up episode one with no problem. Still, The Walking Dead: A New Frontier will import your old saves from seasons past if you have them to help shape your world. If you don't have a save, you will be able to configure your backstory prior to playing A New Frontier or start from scratch with a default story setting.

　　The Walking Dead: A New Frontier will be launching digitally on December 20th on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, iOS, and Android. If you're looking for a retail disc for PlayStation 4 or Xbox One, you'll have to wait until February in order to purchase the Season Pass disc.

　　Anyone who pre-orders The Walking Dead on PlayStation 4 will get a complimentary copy of The Walking Dead Season Two and The Walking Dead: Michonne. Not a bad deal to help catch you up on the series prior to playing A New Frontier.
