Part 1, The Alphabet
This series of glyphs represents the alphabet. Beyond that, the only thing you need to know is that the writing within the game is read from right to left and from top to bottom. The clue in the video was the connection of the animals to the monument. The phrase on the monument is read by analyzing two consecutive sides, and it reads as: "The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog."
This phrase, as well as the one in the page header ("Brawny gods just flocked up to quiz and vex him"), is known as a pangram. It's essentially a sentence that contains every letter of the alphabet at least once, making it very useful for deciphering the language within Fez.
Part 2, The Tetrominos
These shapes known as tetrominos, which most of you will undoubtedly remember from Tetris (where they're known as tetriminos), are used in numerous puzzles throughout Fez. They correspond to inputs on your controller. When deciphering a string of tetrominos, you start from the top and imagine the series rotated 90 degrees counterclockwise. Here’s an example:
Part 3, The Number System
The numbers within Fez are represented by these little cubes and further defined by notches within them. By examining the array above, we can see that each edge represents a value of 1, 2, 3, or 4. When multiple notches appear within a cube, you add the values from their edge of origin.
