If you're still anxious about going to movie theaters to catch the latest blockbuster, with the deal Warner Bros. has with HBO Max, you can watch movies like The Suicide Squad earlier than you might think. Starting Thursday night at 4 PM PT / 7 PM ET, James Gunn's The Suicide Squad will be available to stream on HBO Max, so you can watch your favorite contract killers let loose and possibly ease your anxieties about public safety.
Much like WB's other recent releases, including Space Jam: A New Legacy and Wonder Woman 84, The Suicide Squad is seeing a dual theatrical/streaming debut. However, to stream it, you'll need to be subscribed to the ad-free version of the service, and you'll only have 31 days to access it.
Only one day left. Hope they had a good last meal.

Gunn's reboot of the franchise has received mostly positive reviews, with our own The Suicide Squad review giving it a 9/10 despite early review bombing. Rotten Tomatoes, meanwhile, had 151 reviews netting it a much more impressive 95% fresh with the audience score left out for now.
This is Warners' second film featuring Task Force X with only Viola Davis, Jai Courtney, Margot Robbie, and Joel Kinnaman returning from the original film. Taking the reins from David Ayer, James Gunn introduces a new Suicide Squad with new characters to the DC Universe such as King Shark voiced by Sylvester Stallone, Bloodsport (Idris Elba), Ratcatcher II (Daniela Melchior), Polka-Dot-Man (David Dastmalchian), and Peacemaker (John Cena).
