The season-ending episode of GameSpot's sports gaming show, The Lineup , is up and ready for your viewing pleasure . As always, I'm immensely proud of the work everyone put in to making this show the best it could be and I'd like to thank everyone who helped make it happen.
While there's a lot of special stuff in this episode, none of it is more important than the announcement of GameSpot's 2008 Sports Game of the Year. This announcement comes a little bit ahead of our larger "Best of 2008 " feature which is due to start next Friday and I'm personally pleased to see a genre I'm so passionate about get its own special treatment in The Lineup.
In the interest of encouraging you to watch the show, I'll hold off on announcing the winner on the sports blog until Monday (that said, I doubt many people will be surprised by our choice). But, whether you see the announcement on the show or read about it here next week, I'd love to hear your thoughts on our choice, and hear what you think is the top sports game of 2008 in the comments below.
