Just like its predecessor, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom features a huge quantity of items to collect, ranging from food items to monster parts and other oddities, but players are not able to collect every type of item they see. While there's no inventory limit for regular items and armor, Link cannot carry more than a few weapons and shields, which can get a little annoying once you have started making strides in Hyrule's exploration, and you are forced to leave things behind.
Thankfully, it is possible to expand inventory space to bring more shields, weapons, and bows with you. To start doing so, you will have to complete a straightforward quest given out by character fans of Breath of the Wild know well.
Once you spot the huge Korok, talk with him to start the Hetsu's Concerns side adventure, which can be completed by giving him a single Korok Seed. If you have helped some Koroks reach their friends from whom they have been separated, you should already have a few of them. Give them to him, choose which inventory you want to expand, and the quest will be complete.
To further expand inventory space in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, you will have to find Hetsu again. After completing the Hetsu's Concerns quest, you will find him in the southeastern corner of Lookout Landing. This time around, you can give him all the Korok Seeds in your possession and thus upgrade inventory space more than once. After making some progress in the game, however, Hetsu will leave again. You can find him in Korok Forest at the 0412, 2124, 0143 coordinates, but only after meeting the Deku Tree.
By giving Korok Seeds to Hetsu in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, you can increase inventory space for weapons, bows, and shields, but which should you increase first? Inventory space for weapons, without a doubt. While traveling the world of Tears of the Kingdom, you will find a huge number of weapons just lying around or by defeating enemies, and with the ability to Fuse them together, you will want to experiment as much as you can, and so you will need appropriate storage space. Among the three types of items, weapons are the ones more likely to break as well, so you will want to keep a decent stock of them so as to be able to switch between them mid-battle. Expanding shield storage space is also a good idea, especially if you like attaching Zonai Devices to them, as, to make an example, attacking a Fire Emitter to a shield to turn it into a flamethrower will destroy it in a few uses, so you may want to carry a few extra ones.
