The wait has been long and arduous, but The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is almost here. Nintendo has been very shy about providing information about the new open-world adventure, but today during the most recent Nintendo Direct we finally got a new gameplay trailer and pre-order details.

　　The new trailer is a bit meatier than the short teasers we’ve seen in the past, running around two minutes. During that time, we glimpse a much darker Hyrule, seemingly beset by flying enemies, as well as new areas both in the sky and underground. We hear a voice (presumably Ganon?) commanding his minions to rise and sweep over Hyrule, and dark energy mutating existing BOTW enemies. As far as gameplay is concerned, Link seemingly has a new magical gauntlet he can use, and can even construct makeshift vehicles. 　　Nintendo also officially announced the opening of Tears of the Kingdom pre-orders (and yes, they're bumping the price up to $70) and unveiled the game’s Collector's Edition and new Amiibo. The Collector's Edition will include a Steelbook case, art book, collection of pins, and more. You can scope out all the Collector's Edition goodies, below.
